Starting my sewing and designing journey began in 2016. I was really into woodworking around the house including all new wainscoting, custom trims around windows and doors and building new furniture and custom closets. One day, I needed a sofa but could not find one to fit the space I needed, so I looked on YouTube University to find out how to build a sofa. I was intent on making my own. I knew I could do it.

The instructional videos I found showed how to build the couch and then sew a slip cover for it. I had a sewing machine. I could do it but I needed to learn how to even sew a seam first. I mean….I started from the beginning with sewing.

It became my passion. I spent countless hours sewing and learning new techniques. I began sewing clothing for a few muses at work and then started doing custom ordered pieces. I found I enjoyed the design and assembly process so much that I could not stop.

And the rest….is history….or at least to where we are today.

I have expanded to sew so many things that most of the time I am contacted to sew something new that I have not tackled before. that is when the excitement of learning something new kicks in.

Today, I mastered the slip cover for a sofa. It all started with that but it is not ending with that. I focus mainly on handbags, messenger and travel bags, leather fetish wear (image on the right is a leather harness with a cigar box as an integrated backpack for money, lube and poppers that I created for a the Small Packages Show fundraiser for Ferndale Gay Pride) and slipcovers and upholstered cushions.
